In 2004, founding partners Tom Obermeier and Aleksandr Sheykhet began their great adventure. Obermeier Sheykhet Architecture (aka Studio OS) grew from a shared desire to be a client-focused design firm.  We believe in the power of inspired architecture to change lives, improve the world one building at a time, and allow clients to be successful.  We use the latest technology to effectively communicate with our clients and consultants spread across the country. 

As non-signature architects and planners, we do not come to the table with a pre-conceived notion of how your project will look or what architectural solutions shall be employed.  Instead, through rigorous and engaging collaboration, we will develop a unique site-specific design that combines the latest technological achievements with careful consideration of existing conditions and construction techniques. 

Studio OS has over 90 years of combined experience in master planning, architecture and interior design.  The firm’s areas of expertise include hospitality, government, residential, commercial, cultural and mixed use projects. .
