Always inventive
This new building
serves as an anchor
for the campus's
pedestrian walkway.
The former field house
collapsed during a winter
storm. This new, state-
of-the-art field house
and classroom facility is
designed to serve Mullen's
adjacent football stadium
and nearby athletic fields.
Scheduled for completion in
2004, the building houses:
locker rooms, offices,
a concessions facility,
weight room, wrestling
room, training room, five
classrooms and a 10,000 sf,
double-height, multi-purpose
room for indoor athletic
practices. This new facility
was designed, constructed
and completed 18 months
after the loss of the old
field house. Client services
included programming and
all phases of design, through
construction administration.*
