Mutually respectful at all times
Site development and
expansion of the old
Machbeuf High School
incorporated a mixed-use
design.
On the Machbeuf school site
between 18th and 19th
on Logan, we designed a
mixed-use project for our
joint client, Mercy Housing
and Catholic Charities.
The project was designed to
be compatible with
the adjacent Post Properties
development and to
provide a link, a diagonal
artwalk, between the
Post development and
downtown. The existing
Machbeuf gymnasium would
expand into a doublestory
structure, accommodating
artist studios that
utilized the existing
windows.
* This project was
undertaken when Tom
Obermeier
was CEO of OZ Architecture.
